CLUB HISTORY & OTHER FACTS

"But Why? B.C. was formed January 1st 1997. The agenda for the club was for it to be fun club with out all the rules and regulations associated with most other clubs (some of which the founding members have been involved in). It was also set up as to be of no cost to members (unless you want a t-shirt , hoodie or patch etc.) also one of the objectives of the club was to involve younger people in the biking community and keep them there. The purpose of having a club name was for the club to send invites to other clubs and organisations and signing in at rallies. It is and always will be a club of like-minded friends with an interest in bikes and the bike scene."

The club meets every Wednesday night at The Black Horse, Pall Mall, Chorley from 7.30pm. Everyone is welcome to come along.

Just a couple of points
To get voted in to the club a prospective member must have a bike (one with an engine) or be a permanent pillion (wife, husband, girlfriend, boyfriend etc) and must attend 6 consecutive meetings or be nominated by a full member this can then shorten the period to two meetings and must also attend a rally with the club.

It will be taken that a club member has left the club if there is no contact in six months (this basically is to wheedle people out who have no real interest in the scene) there are exceptions.

Club merchandise EG. Club t-shirts, hoodies etc. are NOT to be worn by non-club members for your own safety, also its a respect thing (IF NONE MEMBERS CAUSE TROUBLE WITH CLUB T-SHIRTS ON, IT COMES STRAIGHT BACK TO US. WE ARE NOT HARD TO FIND)

Members can also be thrown out of the club for causing trouble within the club or out and about or misuse of club merchandise. On all matters relating to membership the committee’s decision is FINAL.

Associate members (fluffers) have to follow the above, but do not have to have a bike and also they do not have a vote in the club. On getting a bike (or trike) the associate members will be voted up to a full member.
